This was a lopsided fight from the opening bell. Midnight Plague brought overwhelming volume — 2,556 attacks to LB's 1,158, a 2.2:1 ratio. NITE had deep, active participation: their top 10 averaged 74 attacks each. LB's top 10 averaged 53. That's the gap.
Participation told the story. Only 63 of 87 internal members threw a single punch. 28 managed just 1–5 attacks — one login, one hit, gone. Only 12 cracked 30+ attacks. oraN (176 attacks, 2,024.55 score) and Mizturbenne (123 attacks, 1,745.89 score) together produced 30% of all LB score. They were the war.
But the attack logs tell a second story the scoreboard doesn't show. NITE made 3,878 attacks targeting LB members. Every member who was locked in absorbed some of that heat — whether they fought back or not. The defense component measures how much respect NITE actually scored off each member. Skbacon conceded 920.6 respect across 82 NITE attacks pre-"Go Down Swinging." CaptainKansas was targeted once and conceded 5.7 respect. Being hard to score off is a contribution, and this formula recognizes it.
The "Go Down Swinging" order was issued at 17:34:41 TCT on March 15. Everything after that timestamp is excluded from defensive scoring — members who took hits following the order to go all-out are not penalized for the respect conceded in the process.
Notable efficiency: Furai posted 218.10 score on 4 attacks (54.5 resp/atk) — high-value chain bonus hits. Ketum13 at L38 threw 46 attacks for 466.10 score, outperforming most L100 members. TOXICLEGACY managed 341.7 score on just 20 attacks (17.1 resp/atk) — surgical.
NITE attacked LB members 3,878 times during the war. Each successful attack scored respect for NITE — that's the real cost on the scoreboard. The defense component measures how much respect NITE earned off each member before the "Go Down Swinging" order at 17:34:41 TCT.
Members who conceded less respect get a bigger share of the 40% defense pool. Members who were never targeted, or barely scratched, earned maximum defensive credit. Members who were farmed heavily earned less — not as a punishment, but because the enemy literally scored more off them.
Post-GDS respect conceded is excluded entirely. Once the order to go all-out was given, the calculus changed — members who took hits after 17:34:41 were following orders, not failing to hide.
All 87 internal members are eligible for defense money — including offensive no-shows. If NITE couldn't score respect off you, that has value regardless of whether you attacked.
NITE scored 28,250 with 2,556 attacks across 76 locked members. Deep, active roster with 8 members over 100 attacks.
